#142: A(nother) Mop Review

#142: A(nother) Mop Review
1 minutes to read

I’m a bit of a wannabe clean freak. I say wannabe, because I’m actually not that good at it. I’m always on the hunt for the next new thing that’s going to make my speedy midweek cleans a bit easier, without going as far as a live in maid (although…if the maid could also multitask as childcare, a gardener, someone to do the ironing, and a chef, then we could be onto something).

So when I got sent a new multi-surface spray mop, I was looking forward to domestic rejuvenation. My house is mainly wooden floors downstairs (it’s a lot of wooden floor), and stone tile floors in our kitchen. Plus lots and lots of windows. This mop is suitable for all of those surfaces, meaning I could do a quick internal window clean with the cloths provided.

I like the fact that you can remove the microfibre cleaning cloths and wash them, and also that the mop doesn’t need specific detergent – you can use your usual surface cleaner. This is great if you want to blitz all of the windows in your house as part of one clean.

The mop features a four foot extension and a 600ml detergent container, which means you can effectively clean ceilings and high level surfaces, and not run out of liquid part way through the clean.
